Only an American could say something like this🤣

What your forefathers did was indeed remarkable but this "the best" statement is a bit shortsighted and naive in my opinion.

I think he meant to say only country in the world 😉

😂

My favorite Americans are the ones who assert America is the best country in the world and don’t even have a passport. They know it’s the best because they been told 😂

Out of all the countries I’ve been too (none) America is my favourite

🤣

Wait a minute that's me 🤣🤣

💀 😂

So how do you know it’s the best?

Well other Americans that have also never left the country told me so. And the news and government tell me so it’s obviously true even though we rank poorly in health and education and our murder rate is pretty high we’re obviously the best because of eagles and flags with lots of stars and football.

Dude I ordered an AK online and picked it up at the store the next day thats how I know.

Isn’t the AK a Soviet rifle?

Yeah and even they can't do what I did 🤣

Ok so America is the best because you can buy Soviet rifles online, got it 😂

God bless you Americans you never cease to entertain

See now you are learning

I still suggest you test your theory by visiting other countries you might learn something

Switzerland is the only european country that even interests me

Then go there. The world is waiting to be explored.

The US is still waiting to be explored as well, I haven't even been to all the states

Backpacked all over Europe for a year in my twenties was one of the best experiences of my life.

And did a second trip to Australia and SE Asia.

Yea lots to explore in US as well but it’s good to experience some other cultures you might be pleasantly suprised and your AK will still be waiting when you get home

I'm not traveling because I don't like traveling I don't even like going one state over lol. I'm fine where I'm at, but I'll take your word for it being great.

Never understood this lack of curiosity I guess most humans prefer comfort to the unknown.

But not the football you play with your feet the one you play with your hands. *handball was already taken*

America fuck yeah

Here to save the MOTHAFUCKIN day yea!

lol 🤣

As an American, I agree. But hey, I’ve traveled and lived outside the #USA

Recognition of this as a privilege not everyone has had. Then again many have this false belief of “American exceptionalism” that blew my mind even as a child.

whats false about it?

where else are god-given rights so embedded into the formational contracts of a government at its inception?

The United States is anything but United. We live in a divided country which was pushed to benefit the top 1% worldwide.

99% bleed for 1% greed

We’re a young country throwing a fit on the world stage. It was always expected in my lifetime. World has been in constant wars the last 50 years. As the world gets smaller, the wars would get more targeted.

Brainwashing others etc. When the 99% realizes this and bands together then everything can change. However so many are so dosed on their own ego, this has taken longer than I expected. It is what it is.

the 99% are always there, standing around, jaws agape.

the majority will always be this way. its just a symbol that points toward the order of the heavens.

narrow is the gate and few are they so on and so forth...

----------------------------

one day, enjoying himself, hiking the mountains and exploring wherever his fancy took him - as was his way in the fire and gloriously selfless self-centeredness of his youth - he came across a gate, guarded by an Old Wise Man.

without hesitation, The Elder opened the gate, revealing a stairway that climbed and wandered gradually before disappearing 'round the outcrop. He motioned for the Seeker to enter.

"What's up there?" your boy asked.

"Everything you have been looking for", gleamed The Guardian. "Up that stairwell lies the world you dreamed of, where there is meaning and purpose, trajectory, beauty and song. the architecture curved. the women - demure, elegant and confidently deferrent."

"rivers flow, of maple and honey. life up there is an endless synchronicity that only serves to catapult you upward, home, to God and the apex of ultimacy - Total Completion...well, you get the point!" he chuckled.

The boy was speechless. The stairway seemed to reach out to him. His head spun around with the ecstacy of a slow motion revelation.

He had one thought: "I must show someone this!"

He ran back down the mountain and told his townsfolk all about the gate, The Man, and the promise of Wonder. And, ultimately, about the great reunion with God that the stairway leads to.

But no one believed him.

Disappointed, Our Guy finally realized the hopelessness of his endeavor and resolved to go back to the gate and walk through it himself.

After some time, he arrived again at the gate. There stood the Old Man, as if he had been waiting a thousand years for this moment.

As the Hero approached the threshold the Master stepped in and blocked his path.

"What!?" said the boy, a bit startled. "You told me that beyond the gate lay the beauty, truth and wonder of creation, that it was the fount of synchronicity, all of that" said the younger one.

"That IS what is beyond the gate" , said the Codger, "but that gate was only meant for you, and only meant for that time - it wasnt for anyone else to see or partake of."

"it was opened for you and you alone, and now it is closed" he thundered, as he stepped backward, onto the other side of that gate and slammed it shut, with a painful and echoing crash.

birds wept.

and all the blue and red ones turned black.

I fight for the 99% & you rely on your perceived relationship with some God to allow you to judge others.

Historically accurate for every war in history. Too many have died under some name of God … you won’t bait me into arguments.

Have a good day. 💜

Only a European could say this.

I get that you don't get it. That's fine. You like what you have and that's good. But we've gone 250 years without a tyrant goose stepping across our continent and massacring everybody. We have had tyrants, we have had massacres, but we haven't had our whole damn place conquered and dominated by one. In that time, Europe has had this happen 3 times. Literally the only thing that has stopped a 4th time over the last 70 years was US occupation.

All possibly true but all that doesn't define "the best" with regards to the country and especially the people!

There is no doubt that the US has seen prosperity and has been instrumental to many good things in the last 200 years, but I don't see your country 's financial situation (neither ours for that matter) well the last year's.

And we all know exactly why as Bitcoiners.

And as for defining the average American "the best".... I would be interested in knowing what are the bases of your statement.

Defining the best you imply that other are not, I find this interesting coming from an American, but not surprising.

Its simple: Americans don't trust their government. That's what makes it better as a culture. Europeans tend to implicitly trust their governments, and as a result keep winding up in authoritarian dictatorships and continental wars of conquest. Americans don't care what the government wants or says. We are peaceful but lawless.

Europeans have some very great things culturally. Each group has strengths. But they all without fail defer to their governments when deciding right and wrong. If the government says it's morally good to ban certain words, they go along with it. If the government says it's morally good to eradicate an ethnic group, they go along with it. If the government says it's morally good to be ruled by a single man, they go along with it. This is an incredible weakness, deeply rooted in the culture of European societies.

America is currently being destroyed by corruption. But this isn't the first time it has happened. It sure feels like the worst time. Maybe that's but because it's real right now. I don't know if our government survives through this. But our culture of "fuck you don't tell me how to live, now do you need help with your bags?" will survive it. Rebellious hospitality, that's what makes american culture better.

Yeah this is my general experience too.

What other countries have you lived in for comparison?

That's none of your business, but I will say more than one. I've experienced quite a difference in cultures, like you wouldn't believe, and it's given me some perspective.

I acknowledge all you said and I parialy agree.

Americans may not trust their government but they blindly trust CNN( or FOX) and they feel it is their moral obbligation to please the IRS. They may have an innate rebellious drive but they are generally speaking ignorant of everything that happens outside the the US borders and anything remotely cultural.

Europeans also have a rebellious nature but then they get distracted easily by sport and local issues.

Europeans hate to pay taxes , and do so only in the measure not to get them in trouble. We don't feel it being a justified obbligation (except for the ones receiving the government handouts).

I think we are very similar, and so are the Asians or Africans. We, the people. I don't see myself better than other nationalities, and I certainly don't see myself less that you Americans!

I notice you insist in using the term "better" or "best" and I therefore believe that it is wise to agree to disagree, we are not getting anywhere here and the discussion has become sterile.

Take care, my "better" American Bitcoin Friend!
