Press and hold the zap button.
Copy the key from Minibits, tap the clipboard in the Amethyst dialog. Done.
Also, double tapping the zap button lets you quickly send a chosen zap amount.

It's another way to zap for me. That's honestly about it.
I still don't get what the big deal is.
It's not a big deal. Like I said, just another tool in the box. Might even sit there gathering dust forever. Some people are deeply involved, so there's a lot of excitement from them.
But now you know how it works at least. Everybody will put it to use as needed for their application.
