Agree, but unfortunately most people love to see the blood in the circus. Human psyche often love to taste a slice of violent revenge against the crimes they had to endure.

I find it disturbing to watch too, and at the same time wonder if it isnāt good for me to see the reality of what it looks like to combat criminality. Thereās nothing tidy about fighting to keep our streets safe.

Yes, of course theyāre propaganda and Iām mostly disturbed that theyāre obviously designed like that to appeal to peopleās bloodlust. Many people must be turned on by that stuff.
At the same time, there are brutal criminals doing terrible things to people, and the methods for handling them canāt be pretty.
I have mixed feelings about all of it.

Yeah, I think the fetishization of punishment is strange. From what little I've read, the risk of being caught is more of a deterrent to criminals than punishment
