It’s bad. We should pay attention to our worlds
Yes our words are (after our attention) the most powerful tool!
Definitely the sign of something bad. IMHO it‘s some kind of coping mechanism usef by ppl who‘re overwhelmed by our current world and feel left behind. But disengaging doesn’t help with getting your mojo back, it only further alienates you from your surroundings.
Instead of ignoring the world, focusing on one’s own thoughts & actions and ensuring they‘re in harmony with the universe would be a much better strategy. Our thoughts & actions shape our world. As within so without, as above so below.

I had the same thought when i saw it, even felt pity for the woman.
When i realized that i felt pity for her i also realized that i was judging her. So i went the other direction: What if her statement is correct?
What if she means not literaly "ignoring" but she means boundaries?
"Setting boundaries to the outside since forever, zero backing down."
Only she knows her true intention. I hope it is the intention of boundaries, because i see so much value in setting boundaries.

Had a interesting convo today about a similar topic. My perception is that a lot of young folks are/feel helpless, dont see a bright future, etc. I think social media fucked them up because it‘s so focused around outside acknowledgement, instead of working on the „I“ and guiding your energy towards your realm of influence. So there is a big group that sees „stuff“ happening every day, but most of it isn’t in there realm of influence, making them feel helpless.
In that sense: cats are animals that are in control. They dont want to be liked, they want to do the stuff they want to do because of an internal drive. To summarize: awesome hoodie because to me it‘s prob not about not being interested, just about healthy boundaries for shit.
