soil temp, moisture and air flow are all critical. I use the infrared temp gun #[2] recommends to dial in soil temps for germination. What are the conditions of your setup and what soil mix are you using? #grownostr

I dont know the soil temps. The soil is from my garden. No potting soil anything because I cant get anything to grow in it. Typically I have my tray outside and the sun dries the soil hard as a rock. Thats my biggest struggle. I tried a little green house tent a few years ago and nothing grew. 🤷‍♂️

I would seriously consider a proper germination mix for plug trays and a bottom tray without holes to hold water. Invest in the temp gun, check surface soil temp, keep most things 70-80 degrees. read the seed packet for specifics. Your first batch of successful seedlings pay for the equipment
