Ha! I’ll never badmouth the OG RNs. They’re the real ones in charge. 😂
They put up with a lot of shit.
Case in point: my dad, ex-marine, woke up from the surgery to drain pressure from a subdural hematoma (skull) and proceeded to rip into his nurse with a blistering inventory of explicatives. We were shocked and tried to apologize to her in the hallway.
She just looked at us and said, “oh, don’t worry about it. They all do that after head trauma.”
Respect.
