Let bots do bot stuff so humans can focus on human stuff. As someone who used to welcome tf out of new users, guide them, and check in after a few days, it is tiresome for multiple reasons. One being, they often leave so it feels like an energetic black hole. But if I just get to say, "hey, what's up, that is cool that you're into " and relate as a human, then I am happy to do that, whether they stay or not. It is a magical little internet moment, a somewhat more equal exchange of energy that doesn't require me to run on a big energetic deficit in the long term.
I also went through a period where I shared Derek's website, in lieu of hands on guiding. But most people likely don't wanna click on more buttons and read more. They already did a lot of work to get here, in their eyes, I imagine. So beyond the lightning bot, I say add a grow-your-network bot and serve it all up a silver platter, clearly labeled as a bot. Then let the humans do the human-ing with empathy and connection beyond that.
