This debate has been draining in a way, but it was always going to happen. I'm personally going to partially tune out of it until v30 is out and real outcomes can be observed.
Long term we'll probably end up with at least two implementations, which should be healthier, but it's hard to tell how things are going to play out in the short term IMO.
I haven't really dove too deep into this whole thing but your post right there just made me be very very skeptical of anything Bitcoin Core to be honest...
So for me it's Bitcoin Knots all the way.

That's what I think as well, but dismissing Core as a bad actor feels too much right now
