It’s interesting to watch tech minded folks get frustrated with non dev talk and others get frustrated with too much dev/tech talk. Best solution: try to keep everyone a similar amount of frustrated.

People leaving because they’re tired of too much bitcoin content probably just need suggestions on people to follow with similar interests to their own.

Yeah exactly, what you describe is mostly a result of users with different (incompatible) interests mingling, which can be solved with sufficient content&person exploration, which we'll have within this year. 🤔

Though I'm quite sure it's possible now to build a following list without any bitcoin content 🤔

💯 I think it’s currently possible to build a follow list without any bitcoin content. I think blaming it on bitcoin content is a bit of a cop out and what they really mean is I don’t want to do the work to curate what I see. People have grown accustomed to being spoon fed content.

Oh yeah absolutely!

I was reading some about users switching solutions laat week.

The model described the users familiarity with an old product as inertia. And cost of switching as friction.

The increases effort of maunallu curating following lists stings inertia and is high friction. And thus a filter for people with high commitment 🤔
