Peace, joy, love, contentment, bliss come from being your authentic self, alcohol numbs these feelings and is an escape for running away from the true self and gives an illusion of fun because stresses and trauma are temporarily buried. When you were a child did you need alcohol to have fun? And that child is still you.
I don't believe that's true. I'd also caution: It's never a good sign when your ideology leads you to tell others you don't know about their depth psychology and supposed trauma...
You asked and I shared my experience. Your belief is alcohol is fun but evidence would show its a poison responsible for more pain and suffering than any other substance in the world. Sorry if your ego took it personally brother it was a generalisation which came with good intentions from the heart.
Yes, I understood it's your general outlook and given without ill will, don't worry. My cautionary point remains though.
