Oh yes I’ve tried to be a breatharian at one point. Definitely difficult.
Need money to do anything.
If they could tax each breath, they would.
Everything will cost you some of your time.
Money/ Value is saved/stored time and its actually what we spend when using any currency.
It's not like I can go on state Land, build a hut, and wont have agents telling me I can't do this....
It’s easier in some ways to produce what you need to live from than earn money to buy food. Not everyone’s bag but still a viable option.
I dont expect to make money, but it is important that my zapping wallet is self sustaining.
Interesting perspective
Is it more of “if money comes” I’m okay and if not I’m also okay?
Its more like i think sats zapped to me are a gift and I'm obligated to pay them forward rather than hoard them for myself so I zap freely.
If I didnt get any zaps I'd be buying sats for nostr and would ask myself "why aren't I saving these"? This would probably lead to me just lurking and interacting with other people very rarely.
I think zapping/getting zapped is a core part of the nostr experience but if it started to feel like I was paying a subscription I would enjoy nostr much less.
For what it's worth nostriches are great and make it really easy to be self sustaining sats wise.
It was a big driver in the past. Covid times really helped me see the illusion of working for more money.

Prior to covid.. i was my work. I was my job. I wanted to move up the corporate ladder, make as much money as possible while getting recognition via promotions.
During covid it was like the world stopped and I was able to see corporations for what they were.
Human factory farms. Where you go in a creative life loving being and come out an old person. I realized that this farm didn’t really care about me. So for me to put 100% of my life, soul and time into it was a waste of my life.
I still do work yes, but i value my time way more. No more will certain carrots of status, more money or whatever have me give up more of my time unnoticed. More money is cool.. but my life is way more valuable.
It doesn't make sense to say someone has greed for money, because any amount of money will never truly be enough due to its natural loss of value. I conceived that during pandemics...
Making money is very important to me — not more important than my relationship with God, but just as important as fulfilling my purpose, securing my future, and providing for the family I’ll have one day.
How much time do you think you spend thinking about and working for money.
A large portion of the day.
Most interact with money for every facet of life.
Without money in this world you can barely do anything or have access to resources.
Very important for me to provide a roof and food. Anything else is a plus!!
