quick question…

with the demise of the Babylonian Empire happening around 550BC, why in the F**** ****** ****** ***** are we still using a base 12 measuring system?

Ever tried to do quick math with 10 vs 12 in your head? notice a tiny difference?

Maybe you just cant get enough of numbers like 11 23/64 because 11.012 bothers you.

Afraid youll only get 10 eggs at the store? what is it.

Why blame the measuring system? If we just switched to a base 12 number system, the notation would be fine.

When I started baking the metric systems advantage became so clear.
