It's just displaying/sorting events differently. You can't stop people from displaying data on nostr however they like.

Oh, Okay. I’m asking for optional sorting of the data, so that I can sort it the way I want, not to stop someone from sending it.

Yes, damus could make it so you don't see zapvertisements, but it can't stop others from seeing it unless they opt out themselves too.
