I guess I am more interested in #nostr being more protective in privacy-vulnerable situations and reveling less of the metadata.
For example. if I want to hide my IP I need to go through VPN, tor or maybe tor through VPN.
That's kind of IT-heavy.
So I could use #torbrowser as an out-of the box solution.
But I should not install any extensions in the torbrowser, so how do I securely login to nostr then?
On a social media platform , I guess the main objective is fearless speakers not getting cancelled - rather than someone who wants to say something but hide their identity.. that said , I guess there could be situations ( eg voting) where you do wanna support a controversial idea but don't wanna give your identity for the fear of persecution.. and you wanna do it without much of a technical debt .. I think #nostr is the only platform that could enable such features but they may come in the later NIPs .. my 2 ..not an immediate priority till it really becomes a global town square ..
