interesting to see how a leftwing sided president is also interested in bitcoin. Bitcoin in that sense if fascinating because for instance you get Argentinean president and Colombian president.. both from complete opposite views and where Bitcoin can still fit into their views

As a bitcoiner from the early days, I'm excited to see how JAN3 paves the way for bitcoin adoption around the world. One of the places I'm particularly excited and interested in is Suriname, a magnificent and versatile country in South America that offers a lot of future potential for Bitcoin mining and economic development. Suriname has rich natural resources, a democratic political system, diverse ethnic cultures, remarkable hospitality and a young population eager to learn and innovate. I believe that JAN3 is working hard to educate and empower Surinamese politicians about the benefits of Bitcoin and to create the infrastructure and incentives for them to join the global Bitcoin network while becoming a financially independent and debt-free state. I think this is a great example of how Bitcoin can change lives and society in Suriname for the better. Hopefully more countries will follow El Salvador's example and embrace Bitcoin as the future of money.
