Be careful with images on social media pages. ‼️

Short story: Sometime long ago in the past I had a bot posting news links on a specific Facebook page.

Facebook pulls the first image into the FB post.

After 7 years I now got a dissuasion/fine from the DPA… for three images I have to pay a 10.000 € penalty.

Lawyer said there is no chance - I have to pay it. Ruined my business and whole savings from the last years. 😔

Be warned. If you have old FB pages - don‘t just forget them… delete it all.

Yup, for the preview…

The argument is not valid/interesting because under the EU law I am responsible for what is shown on the page. 😖
