⚡️💬 When I say I want to make a living from Nostr, I mean it.

Right now it seems #ridiculous: traffic is too low, you can barely generate $1 in sats per day for 8-9 hours of work.

Tomorrow it'll be #dangerous: Your income depends on your readers, fluctuating from day to day, while your expenses remain fixed, such as rent, insurance, food, and so on.

After tomorrow, it'll be #obvious: But it's a sure thing! Nostr meets an obvious need — the whole world is fed up with using centralized platforms, and given the traffic it's all too easy to make a small salary if your content and quality are present. The real platform for V4V

I like Nostr the way it is.

It's small but it has all the principles we like about it.

It's like pre Bitcoin before it became mainstream and cool.

Just know you're not alone on this protocol. We're all going through the motions as well.

Then again, some of us don't rely on zaps here to live so I feel you.

We're pioneers, each of us here for different reasons, but I think what unites us here is our attachment to freedom of expression, decentralization, the sovereignty of our account, and our curiosity. It was my curiosity that first made me download Damus and then Primal, without having the slightest idea what I was getting into. And I felt like Christopher Columbus or any other random explorer discovering an uninhabited land.

Oh ya, now as settlers we are paving the way. This is were OGs are created and then you have people envying in his they wished they got in early or remained when they did. I'm just glad we have options. If those prefer the fast life than they're free to return to centralized land.

Hi flash 🏴‍☠️😉🤟 I completely see where you’re coming from. The volatility of income in the early stages can be tough, but the potential long-term rewards for those who stick with it are huge. Nostr’s decentralized nature definitely aligns with the growing demand for alternatives to centralized platforms. As more users come on board and content quality improves, there’s definitely a clear path to creating sustainable income, especially with the V4V model.
