These companies are going to get absolutely steam rolled.

They were bewitched by ā€œcryptoā€

It’s the banks too. The internal corporate emails are laughably embarrassing.

pics or it didn’t happen

I delete most. Let me try to dig one up.

YAAAAAAS QUEEEEEEN

Do I have a treat for you šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚I’ll have to black out a certain amount so I don’t dox, although it’ll be fairly obvious to anyone familiar with wallstreet where I work. lol oh well.

I guess we’ll start with web3:

The ā€œread moreā€ takes you to a McKinsey pdf. No mention of bitcoin.

Yes, I joined. No, they didn’t mention bitcoin.

The future of money!!!! And surprisingly our first mention of bitcoin.

Blockchain and tokenization šŸ˜†

Ok last one…. Jennifer might be upset with me on this chain..

ā€œWhile much attention has focused on Bitcoinā€¦ā€ lol imagine seeing it but not getting it

The next portion of that is even more cringe:

Lol that’s exactly what Max Keiser was saying - the next cycle will be nationstate shitcoins, then we win

Wow this looks like it’s going to be a delicious word salad, tell us more.

ā€œour efforts continue to focus on McKinsey slogans that have literally no semantic content and how they can be regurgitated to equally clueless institutional investors in order to prop up our stock price.ā€

wen, Sir?

Looking forward to the steam roller passing by

lmao no way this is real

Centralized Shit Show

🤣

Like watching Kodak or Blockbuster in real-time

And it will be glorious.

Bruh they haven’t learned shit in almost 9 years.

Honestly it’s pathetic. So long and so many chances.

Those same corporates made the same mistake in the ā€˜90s: ā€œOur efforts continue to focus on how the underlying internet technology can be applied to building private INTRAnet systems.ā€

bLoCkChAiN. As if this was the only innovation of Bitcoin.

Agree. And it’s crazy to me, that after so recently seeing other industries get steamrolled by tech advances, most financial institutions aren’t recognizing the inevitable and acting accordingly. Why in the world do they think that for them, this time will be different?

Blessings on you and your house.

So true. The zap feature in Damus makes it so easy to see.

It's not even a fair fight

šŸ’ÆšŸŽÆ

ā€˜address current painpointsā€™ā€¦ā€¦šŸ˜‚

Rekt as usual

Read The Innovator’s Dilemma. This is a textbook case of everything described in that book.

This is the ā€œputting candies near the cash register ā€œ blockbuster moment.

I took a whole class this quarter about discontinuities in S-curves. I tried convincing the professor that Blockchain is not the next S-curve technology but Bitcoin is. Later in the quarter, he gives a whole speech how large and old organizations fail to see change, rather they innovate in the wrong direction (Kodak w/ digital). I asked him how so many large organizations are spotting Blockchain? He stared at me, blank faced and said hmm.
