NEED AN ASSIST!

Sometime in the past year, a major trustworthy medical journal published what has been touted as "conclusive" evidence that surgical masks were ineffective at preventing the spread of respiratory viruses. I though it was "Columbia" or something like that.

Anyone know what I'm thinking of?

There is no truth. Only allegiance to the Party.

Cochrane Library meta analysis? Back in February but I could not link direct to study

Found it: Cochrane, not Columbia.

"These studies were reviewed and updated by Cochrane researchers in a [300-page paper published in late January 2023](https://www.cochrane.org/CD006207/ARI_do-physical-measures-such-hand-washing-or-wearing-masks-stop-or-slow-down-spread-respiratory-viruseshttps://www.cochrane.org/CD006207/ARI_do-physical-measures-such-hand-washing-or-wearing-masks-stop-or-slow-down-spread-respiratory-viruses). To those who are not familiar with this organization, Cochrane is an international network of collaborators whose mission is to analyze and summarize the best evidence from biomedical research, without interference from commercial and financial interests, and is the leading global advocate for evidence-based health care. Cochrane reviews are internationally recognized as the benchmark for high-quality information."
