There’s public land all over western Canada. Only rule is we have to move every 14 days. Bury your shit and carry out your garbage. Spring summer fall we wheel into Canada, we winter in Baja and central america.
It's pretty rad. Just use common sense when you go.
People actually live there for free. So it's all basically someone's yard🤷🏽 your dressing with homeless and mental issues. Don't go walking through stuff if it just looks like junk you might get shot🤷🏽
Art is fair game, and if you treat people with respect and talk to em like humans you can get yourself into all sorts of fun.
There's a natural hot spring everyone bathes in. There's multiple bars where all drinks are basically $1. They'll draw you maps or just take you themselves in cars or little buggies they've built to so the cool houses since art projects. There's giant drums in the mountain.
I went for my birthday this year, my podcast co-host buddy basically set up an anarchist festival for 3 days called anarchofirnia. They have this stage and had live music a talent show basically of the residents. It was featured in the movie into the wild https://youtu.be/g4bW2YKNQkY

Oh that sounds rad!
Yeah nah slab city they don't move. They just claim spots and take over.
There's kind of lots separated by little burns. But it's not exact.
A friend of mine who had never been went to my birthday this year. He woke up at dawn and went for a walk to check out salvation mountain and he came back like "I met Charlie. He told me not to warner round people yards or I might get shot. Called me the n word too🤷🏽" and I was like yeah... Did it look like junk piles or did it look like cool picture spots? And he was like "ohhhh right... That explains the nitrous bottles I was stepping on... "
Yeah, that sounds like a place to visit and not live 😂.
How about out here?
I took a photo recently that looked like this.
The most green I've seen this valley in the way to my grandpa's house in my life.

Beautiful!
Thank you
I am going to buy one of these so we have a place to go and relax after our desert shenanigans

HELTER SKELTER
Oooooo
I’ll stay above ground 😂.
I have a sunlight allergy so ive always wanted to live underground
That must be tough. What happens when you’re not closed to sunlight? Are there varying degrees, or is the same for everyone with the same allergy?
Exposed
its different for everyone. If more of my skin exposed to sunlight I will get sicker faster. After prolonged exposure [2 hours or more] I will develop severe flu like symptoms. At this point it will take about the same amount of time indoors to recover fully. I have vomited from it a few times in my life. Thats why I go out at night and I love the moon.
