Why Android changes its visual style once a year is beyond me. Suddenly almost everything feels foreign and weird.

It feels more Apple 😑

Every year, it inches closer to it 😖

But Apple has been consistently copying android features for years?

It’s not the other way around?

This thread is about how it looks.

That’s what I meant

For me, iPhones UI have been completely incomprehensible for at least a decade now. If I pick one up, I have no idea how to use it. If it were copying android features or UI I feel like that wouldn't be the case.

Idk for me iOS has slowly become closer to androids styling…

iOS becoming Android

Or Android becoming iOS 🧐

Or maybe they're both morphing into some hideous third thing that no one wants at all.

Oy 🤔

We're all getting Fisher Price phones

That's a glorious future

they want to keep their userbase young by forcving us to learn and adapt thus keep our minds from atrophying...

#yourewelcome

I don't want to think. I want to veg out on 2010s era Android UI until I die.

run the old builds foreva

Sure. It's altruistic motives 😉

I've been using material 3 on my stock device for a month or two now. The ability to change sizes on the quick tiles is great. I see it came to my graphene phone finally too.

Darn diversity

This is about graphene os lol

Other option is don’t update your android

I might

I desire the best possible outcome

iOS is doing it too. Apple is constantly tweaking things and making it impossible to find.

I LIKE WHEN THEY TOOK OUT COLORS FROM MACOS EXPLORER AND THEN PUT THEM BACK 10 YEARS LATER. ARBITRARY NONSENSICAL SHIT DESIGN. DONT MISS MY CRAPPLE PRODUCTS AT ALL
