The ETF will be much more popular than self custody. They can just market the ETF as a much safer way to be exposed to bitcoin. If they were able to sell ESG and the vax, they will have no selling the ETF. They care about the bottom line more than attempting to take away our freedom to scrape a few extra bucks
Yeah but Washington does care about taking our freedoms away and the two form an unholy alliance

If Covid showed anything it showed how rotten federal government policy has gotten. Our only hope probably will be the States to protect self custody. Its definitely an upcoming battle. Their best chance is a cyber 9/11 or some kind of terror event that they will blame Bitcoin funding. We need better privacy tools on BTC asap because they definitely will attack private bitcoin use first already are with mixing. We are at the stage where they fight us. Game theory of Bitcoin is a deep rabbit hole. NGU technology will have a lot of these rotten people in Washington fighting on our side for their own self interest of making money. I'm still optimistic that in the end we win but it won't be easy that is for sure. HODL on.
