Ok I guess my question is what is the problem statement for micropayments? Is it about sending small amounts of money seamlessly? Or is it more of a digital social identity + transferring money?
what iām getting so far is through Nostr and Damus
- purely decentralized digital social identity
- ability to transfer sats to between those social identities
We use the lightning protocol which is practically free, anonymous and peer to peer, i.e. we are not using third parties (credit card companies, PayPal, Apple, ā¦) that want to take a cut and put up barriers.
