Something tells me you're more famous than I realize, what with being in the WSJ, but it's probably cool that I don't know why.

Sort of like when I was introduced to Steve Vai at a bar and I was like 'Oh, hey Steve.' Then I played the spoons with him a bit while he jammed on guitar but nothing too crazy.

Only a few days later did i see online that he's kind of a big deal.

I love people like that. I also love spoons. Fame has never been a good fit on me. The people closest to me know that I struggle with it immensely… I prefer corners of the internet and that is why I love nostr so much. 🫂

I can't imagine I'd enjoy it much either. Seems like just being a projector screen as everyone around assigns you all sorts of things they imagine you to be.

Not that that doesn't happen anyway but fame seems to encourage the proliferation of erroneous nonsense.

Now, having a famous nym fully separated from my legal identity otoh seems like it could be handy. Even if exhausting.
