Custody options are free to choose. The important part is that self custody remains an option.
Met with an older guy who had gone down the rabbit hole after a few discussions with me. About a year later he decided he was going to buy 15 bitcoin. He wanted me to show him how to do cold storage.
Long story short I told him “there’s a non-zero chance that bitcoin fails.”
The shock on his face I’ll never forget. It shook him that I could be 100% all in on bitcoin and say something like that.
I don’t know if he ever bought.
