I was lazy with my standing desk and not using it in the intended state but this entire week never sat down once the entire time I’m at it and honestly can’t notice that I’m not sitting. 🪑

My next setup will be a rocking stool so I can rotate between sitting and standing. Read standing the entire time is also not that great for spine

Definitely important to keep moving and not stand continually for long periods. Flexing calf muscles (tip toeing etc) always good and ensures that fluids don’t accumulate around the feet and ankles (oedema) - I get a mild form of this if I am on my feet for too long and static. The same applies when sitting for long periods too.

I tend to move around naturally because I’m usually blasting music 🎵

Always good to do! 👍🏼 One thing I’d do at work was to elevate one leg up on my desk (shoes off, so sock choice was important 😅) and alternate. Used to piss off a bunch of people 🤣 but it was damn comfortable.

I've only ever stood at desk when in the office, for appearances lol. And I have one at home. Mostly adjust it to get the height right when I wanna rest my legs on it lol

🤣

Director chair alongside a standing desk is a pretty great combo. Then a gel/foam pad for standing on.

Yeah plan on getting an anti fatigue mat. But going with a rocking stool where you sort of perch on it and can get up easily

Got me one of these. It works ok … but kinda not also.

Standing is nearly always better. The spine thing likely comes from icky shoes.

I’m usually barefoot. Plan on getting an anti fatigue mat soon. Just waiting on something
