I try to find so many different ways to eat it because I like it. Chili and stew are always great, but nothing beats the backstraps.
It’s awesome that you get to do that with your dad. Cherish those memories and take some photos together. I started after college and have been hooked since.
Nothing fancy on the jerky. I just thinly slice, use a store bought cure and try different seasonings out. I found a mesquite that’s really good and that’s what I’m doing this round.
