Yup. Second series about standing against authorities brings something extra. I enjoyed first series bit more tho, sheep and all.

Going through the second series now, impressed with how he dealt with all those haters in the village who were obviously hating just to have something to hate.

But for sure first one was more interesting going into more detail about the actual farming. Definitely got much more respect for farmers after learning more about the hard work they do for an unpredictable reward and often a loss.

"Fuck the sheep." - Kaleb Attenborough ๐Ÿ˜‚

Cracked up at that line ๐Ÿ˜…

Diddly Squat is just 25 or so miles down from me too but huuuuge lines outside the shop and restaurant.

I think people are just fed up with his shit. The house he blew up, all the money he throws around. He's an asshole. But on the other hand he's very smart and funny and not a bad egg. I liked him since ever. The show made me want a homestead and think it might be possible to learn enough to run a small one. I'd love to combine a remote job with homesteading. Now excuse me, I have a dead pheasant to take care of๐Ÿ˜ฌ

That's the general sentiment around him indeed, he's a twat but he's entertaining and can be clever when he needs to be, that's my view anyway ha.

Got to the battle he had with the council now, I love how he's just gone "suing you would cost too much I'll just find loopholes." Big applause from me. Those councils are as he said laws unto themselves.

And yes I like the idea of living off your own land as well, with a small piece of land it's far more manageable.
