Unofficial cheat code: add a new line at the end and it will show up. It sucks but that is a workaround for now.

When I am messaging someone on the desktop application, the message bar disappears when I start typing. If I click a bit above, it will show up again. But as soon as I click inside the text bar, gone. Why?

I really like the desktop version. I wish it was sticking around.
