Sorry for your experience, but in all honesty - we provide free and open-source software to interact with the Lightning Network. You buy channel opening from an LSP, we don't sell it to you nor even take a cut.

Unfortunately, this is still how lightning works today and channels get closed for various reasons, you must know it - and in same honesty, we have not much to do with its closure, but keep contacting other teams in this space and developing code so it happens less often for users of LN.

I could see if you don’t charge for the liquidity you could have a zero tolerance expectation of me utilizing the channel I open.

But you charged a significant fee for then channel (more than what nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 charges for its LSP). It’s not unreasonable for me to assume a “use as needed “ approach to it. Force closing it with no communication is fucked up .

I also contacted you to ask about it and got no response .

Maybe you’re just a software provider and charged me 20k sats by accident. But you don’t answer email so there’s no way for me to know what you’re thinking or doing.

At Alby we answer emails regularly and promptly. It might be that one email slips through. If that happens we are sorry.

Please resend your email or tell us your email address and we look for fit.

By the way Zeus' LSP is Olympus and they are available in Alby Hub, too.
