I’m not against it, but I think ppl are very delusional about what it is and what it’s capable of being. It has this huge cult around it that aren’t willing to listen to reason, which I really dislike.

The extreme belief and cult like behaviour seems expected. It's still gambling to me. Even in its current state, I still don't see it replace the fiat system. I think the "bros" need to continue to fuel the fire because they're likely heavily invested in it. If it drops or fails, they've got a lot on the line.

That’s true, there are a lot of factors that generate very toxic behaviours, esp now that’s it’s not “line go up” so much anymore. Ironically enough, the behaviour is very off putting to normal ppl that aren’t susceptible to cultish mindsets.

I consider myself a bitcoin maximalist. I agree with you that bitcoin and crypto have many elements that make them resemble to a cult or religion. Also cripto bros do not help on that. Still, I cannot see any better long term solution for current fiat system problem than bitcoin. When someone shows me one (and proves why is better than bitcoin) then I'll stop being a bitcoin maximalist.
