I left my #Meshtastic on my cars dash yesterday and it melted the 3D printed case 😂😂 rookie mistake.
Jerry-rigged a case while I print a new one. 😅

ABS or nylon... 😁
I am no expert on 3D printing. My friend who did the print used PLA.
He said he will be using ASA or PETG for the second iteration.
- I have no idea what these mean.
You probably need to add a heatsink to that, and the fins exposed outside the printed case
Dang…it’s getting hot in there. What do you do with that?
It’s just an off grid communication toy. A glorified walkie-talkie (texting only).
You can communicate with others who have similar devices, and the devices can relay messages in a mesh like network.
It’s like a post-apocalyptic toy 😅
Cool, I’ve seen others talk about them but wasn’t sure exactly what it did. I like playing with that kinda stuff too
Yeah, it’s fun, but it’s the type of hobbies that can get expensive fast.
I see people have long antennas on their houses, solar paneled devices, ones that send signals far longer than this tiny device.
Also, it’s very niche so you can easily be the only one with a device and not be able to connect with anyone.
Look at Reticulum if you really want to 🤯
😅😅😅😎🔥
