I actually do really like owning stocks but the problem is they are so overpriced denominated in sats it just doesn't make sense to buy them
Discussion
Agreed!
yes, even mstr. any money that someone other than me has authority over is shitcoin.
This book was a great recommendation from my father in law, basically broken money for boomers. Everyone looks at insane stock valuations and convinces themselves the old rules of valuation don't apply anymore right before the bubble bursts

I do think there is some justification, tech stocks grow a lot faster and reach more markets than old school valuations of railroads and manufacturing companies, and the overall company earnings grow faster purely because of inflation
I own stocks solely as a way of donating to companies I like.
Lots of metrics suggest stocks are overpriced even in dollars. So that makes them insanely overpriced in Sats.
Yeah, I am in the same boat as you. I hold some stocks in my TFSA, but my portfolio is 90% MSTR & FBTC.
The remaining 5-10% are companies that I like. Nintendo, Block, a couple of miners, and uranium ETFs.
Basically, the last 10% of the portfolio are my collectible NFT shitcoins π

MSTR is the buy of the decade outside of AI stocks imo
Clear value prop and on a bitcoin standard. Crazy vol, but thatβs not an issue if you have it in tax advantaged accounts.
Especially once MSTR embraces proof of reserves.
The Bitcoin yield concept is phenomenal.
I haven't paid attention to the AI space. Is the big play in that sector geared towards the chip manufacturing, the energy or the data?
I havenβt paid much attention either from an investment pov. But itβs clear there are massive gains to be made in that sector. The 2 big ideas for the next decade is Bitcoin and AI
Yeah, I haven't paid much attention to the investment pov of AI. I like discussions about the tech and it's application, but haven't paid any attention to the investment side of things.
I agree, AI and Bitcoin are the two big behemoths that are changing the world.
