I've been running Pathfinder 1e for a while from level 1-8 for about half a year for my family. It's a fun time but they're asking me when things are going to escalate / pushing me to take it more seriously and it's like, I appreciate people asking me stuff like that, but this isn't a super serious game. it's a 4-5 hour long pizza and beer game.
