Yeah, I had DMed him a minor quality of life issue that I wanted to see if he was aware of or could potentially change.

I feel bad to contribute to is apathy towards his app.

I’m in TestFlight, is there a way to formally report an issue? At least that way his dms and mentions won’t be spammed with negative things.

Make a screenshot, open it, make any adjustments or edits, then press “done” and “share beta feedback”

Something like feedback.fish might be even easier for anyone to use. Plus, he’d have to log in to check so it’s not always popping up in the face.

People still gonna blow up his dms. Feature: pay sats to dm. But then, mentions, what can you do here

I think most of his stuff is via notifications not dms. I can check but I’m tired. It’s not helpful not being able to report odd bugs that maybe only a handful of people rarely run into if you can’t pay. It’s a good gesture nonetheless. A better way would be to just hire him some place and pay a good salary and let him work on Damus 30% of the time. Block or Cashapp might actually be good candidates to do this as their goals and vision may align with Nostr’s longevity.

Yeah, I don’t report anything, because it feels wrong. Like, buddy, fix this and that, oh, and do it for free, on Sunday.

I can’t do that

Yeah it needs to be self contained so that he doesn’t have negative experience while using his own app.

💯

Honestly, some of it is just the nature of software development. He’s got an internal list that he’s probably beating himself up about. It can be hard to relax when your work is entirely in your own brain. Any negative input can really exacerbate it.

I love that on Nostr we users can send zaps to let him know how much we appreciate his work.

Can you do that with videos? I had to use video instead of a screenshot

No, but you can probably sent a link to the video in the feedback itself

Thanks. I think that is a good solution
