You might consider it being transferred into a less useful form of energy but that is a value statement which is subject to the individuals opinion who makes such a statement. I would argue that people who deploy their energy to support the #Bitcoin network do so precisely because they don’t see a more valuable use for it, otherwise they would do that other thing instead. You could say it’s not “their” energy and therefore shouldn’t be “their” decision. Which is precisely the mindset this meme was supposed to illustrate.🤔
