One of the downsides of closed source apps is you can’t see what it’s doing or file a ticket to fix bugs. This just came up with me with nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q which has a bug where it overrides your contact list if you follow someone in the yakihonne app. Hopefully it’ll get fixed fast.
In general we have a nostr problem with replacable list events and how easy it is for apps to override and whip out lists.
It’s even worse with Primal which seems they are doing just their own thing on contacts / relays lists.
But I agree this is a big problem. I noticed the unfollowing a profile is often not working in many clients. So the solution then is to add that profile to the mute list 🫤
Hey just to clarify, we are not doing our own thing at Primal. We use NIP-02 contact lists. Planning to upgrade to NIP-65 for relay management in the near future.
How do I fix my contact list (kind 3) on Primal then? My relay list disappears once a week at minimum and I need to re-add those relays manually each time..
