Twitter had a nihilistic, pessimistic vibe, especially when you go outside the realm of Bitcoin Twitter.
Nostr, by contrast, has an optimistic vibe. “Pura Vida” really does convey this up perfectly.

I agree & I've been thinking about why that would be. Is it just that it's full of optimistic Bitcoiners who have hope & long time horizons?
I suspect it's more to do with the algorithms in these other platforms optimising for engagement rather than the users themselves. This then incentivises & trains users to create content aligned with algorithms.
Attention = engagement
As we move forward, I'd like to see smart & dumb filters put into the hands of users.
