So many people have completely closed their hearts - to others, compassion, empathy, and the potential for love. It's easy to do nowadays when things are so tough. And it's easy to let that heart harden with the years. Not me.

I realize having an open heart will result in heartbreak from time to time. But with age, I realize the solution isn't to close it off; it's to just be more careful who I give it to. I will always have an open heart, no matter what. The reward is worth the risk. 💗
