Really happy to hear you can give your wife and kid that time together tho 😍
i feel bad for abandoning Habla and letting it rot, I had great plans for it and didn't deliver and I'm really sorry for letting you down. for context i'm the only one working at home and I have to pay a mortgage, the bills, raise a kid and feed my family. the little time I have left for open source goes into nostr:npub1gm7gw8q6akeft2pjt270we35vlff0v9g2fene6cxkz2h68q5hl6qls0fte often losing sleep hours just to be able to push the project forward. i'd love to have more time to fix bugs and properly finish the projects i start but the last 20% is the hardest and my brain is fried by the time i finish my duties.

they are everything to me, i want them to be as happy and free as possible even if that means i have to sacrifice most of my time working. at the end of the day i'm exhausted but proud 💜 when I see the smile on the little one and we play together for a couple hours before he goes to sleep i think to myself: "it's worth it, keep going!"
Exactly!
We've been avoiding debt and have literally lived with four in a 28 m^2 container-house (that I built on our farm) up until now for that reason.
We're only going (slightly) bigger now because we want more kids 😉.
Having the full fam at home + tight knit small village + amazing food + strong marriage. Beats the rich, materialistic, vice-ridden city life every time.
