We are not replacing apps with zappable versions. We are rethinking the entirety of publishing. Not just books, but anything that has traditionally been printed, and anything that can be written (that's longer than microblogs, a term that I detest and only use since it is known enough to get my point across) or graphically presented (not so much art work, but flyers, graphic novels, manga, webtoons, illustrated books).

Millions of books. Billions of other publications.

Everything published is able to fully interact with the entirety of nostr. You will be able to reference any publication in whole or in part. You will be able to zap a publisher and possibly an author. You'll be able to comment on and rate publications. You'll be able to discuss a puboication in a related community. You'll be able to use an AI to search for, well, literally anything related to anything else. The publications will be nearly impossible to censor, block, or prohibit reading, or, if properly utilized, impossible to dox the publisher.
