protip: If you are seeing spam in your notifications, you can enable this option which hides notifications from those who are not friends or friend-of-friends. Its a bit subtle so you might have missed it 😅

It's perfectly visible on light mode, but no dynamic icon change with dark mode. So the grey icon visible in light mode doesn't change for dark mode, making it almost impossible to spot it.
