Lol whenever I hear "debt ceing" as if it has ever stopped the govt from exceeding it on their whim
It's like my diet. I have put in place a caloric ceiling on myself. I make a big public fuss and vote to increase it everything I approach it. Feeling cute, might abolish it.
Is this real? Not that there actually is a debt ceiling or anything 😂
Cool thing about the debt ceiling its only there so there is urgency too pass something last minute filled with pork to avoid a fake crisis. Either way there is no stopping this train. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
When you take away the "urgency" to pass something, then maybe they will read the bills they pass. Maybe.
The government loves to run on creating a crisis and selling the solution. Remove the crisis generator, problem solved.
Agreed its their go to play. Create crisis so there is urgency so they can pass all the junk they want.
Finally a little iota of honesty from Congress, if this went through.
