The _current_ quantum threat is mostly FUD. There's a good podcast that I struggle to find a link to, which went into detail as to why that's the case.

Three main points:

1. Quantum computing has many limitations in how it can be used

2. Solutions can be implemented

3. You can move your btc to a new address in a way that prevents exploitation even if no solution is yet in place (my favourite solution)
