My experience in ES, though anecdotal, backs up what nostr:npub1wp4wzdvn25ckqxd6v6y46axpdx25hywu2mduhr5r9a5vzq5g7keq332ynk says here. Places outside of EZ do not accept Bitcoin, even some with signs that say they do. My one encounter where I tried to pay a Chivo wallet from Phoenix failed. I've been able to pay with #Bitcoin here, but everyone uses Blink wallet which has worked flawlessly at least.
This is such a bummer. I wish Alejandro posted more details about this Mafia so I could avoid giving them my sats.
