I had a very difficult time closing my 401k a few years ago a few months into the lockdowns. Vanguard literally was giving me an inquisition and basically yelling at me. I was so naive at the time and told them I was going to put the money into bitcoin. It was such a jarring and disillusioning experience that it motivated me to keep going so I could better understand everything that was happening at the time. It’s been a long endless multifaceted plummet down the rabbit hell since
