Wow, congratulations!!!

I've got the possibility of twins, but I'm happy to be starting with one. It's a more manageable option I think, but we want lots of kids, so twins would be great! 😊

Thank you for the recommendations! I've mostly focused on the actual birth so far. I read a cool study about dates, so I'll be eating 6 dates per day for the last 4 weeks to assist with a faster and easier labor and birth.

For more technical information, I looked up 1177.se and searched pregnancy. I then realized they also have English translations so my husband can understand too, but it's kind of janky as a lot of Swedish still shows up. 😅

But it told me why, and not just what.

My advice when it comes to labor and delivery is to take a class if you can. One of the things I was grateful for was that I had a chance familiarize myself with interventions like induction, c-section, vacuum assist, epidural, episiotomy, breech birth, and etc.

The hope is that you follow the ideal birth where you go into labor, you dilate, you push a couple times and then the baby comes out fast and easy.

I hope you get the birth that you want, I really do. When it comes down to it, there will be things outside of your control and you may have to make decisions or accept interventions for the sake of a healthy baby. Having knowledge of those things happening will make it less scary in the moment.

Also, take a breastfeeding class if you can! Find a local breastfeeding support group or organization so you will have help when the baby is here.

good luck! feel free to ask me anything
