Though personally, I think Monero's privacy is easier to utilize since it's enabled by default without additional tools.

You can use Cakepay to buy gift cards similar to Bitrefill, there's also https://monerica.com/, & https://cryptwerk.com/ which list most of the monero ecosystem.

Monero is also one of the most widely accepted currencies on Dark web markets too if that's your thing.

Overall, anything you can buy with Bitcoin, you can buy with monero, and if you can't then you can use trocador.app , or other exchanges to send Monero to Bitcoin, and lightning.
