It’s definitely a me thing. That’s funny, because I’ve always thought him to be of the complete other school of thought. That his story is to be believed and that his version, or belief of what the future holds, is the only story to be told and believed.

Nah, stories are tools, not just “information”. Like any other, they can be used for enlightenment or for control. For progression or regression. They are powerful and our skills of discernment have been lost. This man knows how to tell stories people believe. This is why he scares me.
