HiveTalk works great. It has video, but people aren't required to have the cam on, and can be "audio only". Others can go "text chat only", while still seeing and hearing everyone too.

I tried it out. Seems awesome. How is it so simple. Makes other things look stupid and clunky. I have only tired one other person. I wonder if this will scale well. Bright future ahead.
I attended the Damus X-mas party, and it all went well. I can't remember how many people were on at once, but it was a lot. It's quite impressive so far.
